The CFPB is a federal agency that is dedicated to making sure you are treated fairly by banks, lenders and other financial institutions.
You can file a complaint with the CFPB about problems with private student lenders or about servicers and collectors of all types of student loans online on their complaint page. If you have additional questions, you can also call the CFPB at 1-855-411-2372.
